The SwiTCh Table And Chair By Ellen Ectors

This surprising switch Table Chair is made by Ellesco International and was designed by the Belgian Designer Ellen Ectors as her graduation work from Sint Lukas Brussels.
What is switch – above all it’s a new concept. It’s a chair turning into a table, it’s a table turning into a chair, it’s both in the same time. Combining two of the simplest geometrical shapes – a cube and a sphere, switch is handmade from a wooden structure of massif oak and leather, the ball is filled with polyether foam. Every swiTCh has a unique number on the back. This is a beautiful design by Ellen Ectors, playful and colorful, made with care and love for design. I see these swiTCh-es suitable for grown ups and kids alike, so I’d say it’s a great design, both aesthetic and practical.

I like it! I just think the ball should have a flat surface to prevent it from rolling too easily.
