Residence In Redmond Washington By Nils Finne
I’m a wood fan. I think wood makes a home alive, warm. Beautiful. This Redmond Washington residence by Nils Finne is a perfect example.
Made with care from sustainable materials, this house has very high Clerestory windows allowing the natural light to flood the house as long as possible. The house was built in 2 ½ years but the clean and functional result was worth the waiting. The master bedroom has a direct view on the surrounding trees, making the owners say it’s their personal treehouse, their home made by Nils Finne after carefully listening and planning. An architect who believes in small firms and dedicated attention, every client’s house becoming the client’s image.
The house is magnificent but I think I’d be living a perpetual termite phobia in it. I adore especially the bathroom!
