Hidden Windows By Bevk Perović Arhitekti (House R)
When it comes to architecture and interior/exterior decoration, everything lies in the details. (don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! Every little thing counts!)
A new Instant Deco moment is brought by these (again) windows with special hidden features. Because the entire house was wrapped in this wood blinds-like cloth, the windows can easily be slipped under the wood wrapping just like they’re not there.
This kind of windows cloth can be great for a vacation home/cabin and it can even be used to hide away the front door or any of the house’s other access doors/windows. Alternating between natural wood and gray, the simple, minimalist house with cloaked access and windows was made by Bevk Perović Arhitekti as part of their House R project (2003-2005, built 2006-2008). The photos were taken by Miran KambiÄ.
